
The 8 and 80 System
Wood Law was recently quoted about use of biweekly overtime under the 8 and 80 system. You can read more about the system and hear what Bryan had to say here. The bottom line is this:
- Make sure you’re an employer eligible to use it
- Get the employee’s agreement in advance in writing and
- “Employers should always cross-reference state law requirements, which can be different than federal law.”
